1. Who we are

Cyber Nova AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website cybernovaai.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal data you provide to us.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: your name and email address when you register.
  • Usage data: which tasks you have completed, your security score history, and how you use the platform.
  • Technical data: your IP address, browser type, and device information, collected automatically via server logs.
  • Support request data: your email address and the description of your issue, when you submit a support request via our support form. See section 5 for full details.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and personalise the platform service.
  • To calculate and display your Security Score.
  • To send service-related emails (account confirmations, password resets).
  • To improve the platform based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

We process your data on the basis of contract (to provide the service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (to keep the platform secure and improve it).

5. Support form data

When you submit a support request via our support form, we collect:

  • Your email address.
  • The description of your issue or question.
  • A pseudonymised record of your IP address (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash, we cannot reverse this to identify you).

Legal basis: Legitimate interests, responding to support requests and maintaining the security and integrity of the platform.

Purpose: We use this data solely to respond to your support request. We will not use it for marketing or share it with third parties.

Retention: Support request records are deleted within 30 days of submission. To request earlier deletion, contact us using the details in section 9: we will action your request within 7 days.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

You can request deletion of your account and data from your Account Settings page, or by contacting us at support@cybernovaai.co.uk.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Object to certain processing.
  • Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).

8. Cookies and analytics

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and security. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the platform is used. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and shares nothing with third parties. All measurements are aggregated and anonymous. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies.
