Review app permissions on your phone

Check which apps have access to your camera, microphone, location, and contacts. Remove permissions that aren't needed.

Why this matters

Apps with unnecessary permissions can access sensitive data even when running in the background.

How to do it

  1. iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security — review each category
  2. Android: Settings → Privacy → Permission manager — review each category
  3. Revoke any permission that seems excessive for what the app does
