Review your app permissions
Apps often ask for more access than they really need. Reviewing what each one can reach is a quick way to protect your privacy, and it takes about ten minutes.

Where to look
Open Settings, then Privacy & Security. Here you can go category by category, Location Services, Camera, Microphone, Contacts, Photos, and see exactly which apps have access to each.
Ask "does it need this?"
A map app needs your location. A torch app does not. If an app has access that has nothing to do with what it does, turn it off. For location, choose While Using the App rather than Always unless there's a clear reason.
Two settings worth checking
Under Privacy & Security, turn on App Tracking Transparency controls so apps must ask before tracking you across other apps. And review Photos access, many apps only need a few selected photos, not your whole library, which you can now grant.
